Shubrew (Zelienople) has announced a brand new series of IPA, and they’re not hazy! In fact, this whole series will focus on west-coast IPA’s as the brewery proclaims “2021 is the year we proclaim that the west-coast IPA will make its mighty return!!”
This new beer series will follow the discography of the band that Shubrew believes most epitomizes west-coast rock, Weezer.
Based on the total number of Weezer albums, beer fans can expect 15 cans in this series. This of course assumes the band doesn’t release anymore. (See below for the full list of albums)
The first release in this west-coast series is “Blue Can”. At 6.5% it features Mosaic, Cashmere, and Strata hops

“We tried our absolute best to recreate the vibe of this epic album, as a beer. Blue Can is new, yet recognizable; it is pop, but rock. It is mad at its parents, but nerdy enough to still love them. Get some before it becomes undone.”
