The Englewood (Hummelstown, PA) is making moves on their resolutions, starting by bringing on new Chief Operating Officer, Bill DeVinney, in early January. The venue opened early in the COVID pandemic, July 2020.
Bill’s recent career role as the Director of Operations at Wyndridge Farm oversaw operations across craft beverages, dining, and private events at venues in Dallastown, PA, and Lancaster, PA. Prior to Wyndridge Farm he spent eight years as Regional Manager with Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant, overseeing several locations in Central PA and the Philadelphia area.
“The Englewood venue is truly a phenomenal space. And we’re going to turn up the volume for a truly phenomenal experience for our guests that visit for craft brews, regional and national live music, and great food,” Bill says of his new endeavor and role.
Bill is no stranger to fresh starts—his experience includes launching over 100 restaurants and developing a wide variety of concepts, including a steakhouse chain in NY, an Irish pub concept with locations worldwide, and numerous other venues.
“I’m very excited to bring Bill on as our new Operating Offcer,” says co-owner, Rick Russell. “We have so much untapped potential that with his expertise, combined with our outstanding staff, this will take us to the next level, and beyond.”
Jeff Sharp, co-owner, added, “We’re ready to make moves and see some big changes. I’m enthusiastic about what Bill already has in store for Englewood.”
Originally from Minnesota, Bill graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine. He is also a certifed Executive Chef from the Culinary Institute in the British Virgin Islands, with several awards including; Top 3 chefs in the Virgin Islands by Gourmet Magazine, Kentucky Restaurant Association Top 30 under 30, Best New Seafood Restaurant in Tampa Bay.
Now a Central PA local, Bill currently resides with his family in his wife’s hometown, New Cumberland, PA.
