Have you ever wanted to get your home grown hops in a craft beer that will be enjoyed by hundreds of other drinkers? Now’s your chance. Tower Hill Brewery is bringing back their Community Hopyard.
They are asking you to supply the brewery with YOUR hops to make a beer that reflects the flavor of our area.
Here’s how:
- Pick the hops from your hopyard when they are at their peak
- Deliver them to Tower Hill Brewery during business hours before September 3rd. (A Ziploc bag is best).
- Label the hops with your name, email address and phone number, along with the hop variety, if known
The brewers at Tower Hill will then brainstorm and formulate a series of great beers using YOUR hops and Double Eagle Malt.
Brewers who donate hops will be invited to a free tasting of the 2017 Tower Hill Community Hopyard beers during October. A selection of special appetizers designed to pair with the beers will be served.
The time and date will be announced.
