Two Robbers Seltzer Company has announced they will be opening a flagship retail space right in the heart of Fishtown, as a concept that will be called “Burgers and Seltzers”. The space is set to open in late Spring/early Summer 2022.
The 4,000 square foot indoor and outdoor space will be located at 1221 Frankford Ave, right at the heart of Fishtown’s restaurant row. It will serve as a multi-programmatic space with a beautiful retail store, an art installation by local artist Alex da Corte, a drink program in collaboration with famed bartender Dan Greenbaum, and most importantly, the best burger in Philly. The company aims to have the space represent a physical manifestation of the creativity that the Two Robbers brand is well known for.
Along with its incredible smash burger, Two Robbers is also excited to use Burgers and Seltzers as a platform for its beverages, allowing diners to taste and experience the hard seltzers they’re known for, as well as the brand’s unreleased drinks like hard kombucha’s, fruited seltzers, nitro hard coffees, and more. A mad scientist’s lab where local Philly patrons can provide feedback on new products and be part of the Two Robbers story.
The building was designed by Ashok Nayar and London-based Storey Studio, with its standalone sculptural treatment and inviting outdoor space. Burgers and Seltzers harkens back to the days of the local “burger shack”, but you’ll know when you see its plastered green exterior, the Two Robbers DNA is very much a part of the story. It is a classic family establishment, through the lens of an art project.
ABOUT TWO ROBBERS
Two Robbers Seltzer Co was founded by Vivek and Vikram Nayar, local Philly residents, in 2018. As the hard seltzer category has exploded in recent years, the company has launched its beverages across 12 states, and 4,000 retailers, bars, and restaurants. Their upcoming Fishtown retail space will be their first physical location and will serve as the brand’s HQ.
