Well Crafted Beer Company, a Lansdale based brewery operating since 2018, has recently announced plans to expand to Ambler Yards at 300 Brookside Ave Building 19 Suite E, Ambler, PA 19002. The brewery has come to an agreement with Ambler Beer Company to purchase brewing equipment so Well Crafted can increase brewing capacity and open a second location. The company says they have explored different opportunities to serve their beer, food, and entertainment before landing upon the Ambler location.

Rick Solomon, an owner and the head brewer says, “With the Ambler location, Well Crafted can continue making the variety of beer styles that customers have grown to know us for while also increasing production of flagship beers, such as our Hop Monger (IPA), Mother of Perle (Kolsch), Blonde Americano (Blonde Coffee Ale), Wolf Pajamas (Imperial Stout), and many other brews that we plan to make more available at beer stores , bars, and restaurants in the area.” Well Crafted has brewed over 180 different recipes of IPAs, Sours, Stouts, Belgians, and Saisons and more at its current Lansdale location, where they’ll continue to run their existing brewpub.

Well Crafted will also be operating a tasting room at Ambler Yards when licensing is approved. There are plans for entertainment, food (via food trucks to start), a variety of beers, seasonal cocktails, and wines which are some of the attributes that make the Lansdale location a popular visit. GM Diane Molle says, “Well Crafted is very involved with the community, music, and local arts, and we want to continue that in Ambler. Our team will bring in live music, a rotating local artist gallery, and look forward to working with the Ambler community, Ambler Yards, and the local breweries, bars, and restaurants in the area wherever we can.” Well Crafted also plans to host regular beer and social events at the Ambler location, as with the Lansdale location.

Timing on when Well Crafted will officially open in Ambler is to be determined pending licensing and more details will be announced. In the meantime, the space at Ambler Yards will continue to be occupied and operated by Ambler Beer Company. There will be no changes to operations at Well Crafted’s Lansdale location.
