Workhorse Brewing Opens 6 Month Pop Up In Center City Philadelphia

Workhorse Brewing has only been open about a year, and has already expanded their beer presence! They recently announced the opening of a new Taproom in Center City Philadelphia. The 6-month pop up space is located at 2401 Walnut Street.

However, Workhorse didn’t move in on their own. They are operating this shared space with their friends Spread Bagelry, who partners with the brewery on a menu featuring items like flat bread pizzas, bagel chip nachos, wood oven sandwiches and more! In addition, they offer a weekly brunch menu that includes beer cocktails like their Center City Shandy, Michelada and Beermosa.

We recently visited with Workhorse co-founder Dan Hershberg to learn more about the space. The taproom offers eight of their beers on tap along with cocktails and even wine on draft! Workhorse’s full can selection is also available, both the 16 oz cans as well as 8 oz flights to go.

The space sits directly along the Schuylkill river with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the city. See the inside, and out, for yourself. (Photo’s courtesy Workhorse Brewing)

As of right now, the taproom is a 6 month pop up, staying open until March of 2020. However there could be potential plans to keep the space open for long-term. Make sure to visit the space yourself or follow along virtually on the Workhorse Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
