Yuengling Introduces “Flight”; A Low Cal Low ABV Craft Beer

At the end of 2019, we polled a number of brewers throughout the state about the trends they expected to see in 2020. One of the more common themes we saw was brewers commenting on the rise of low ABV beers in the new year.

You do not have to look any further for that trend than the pioneer of craft beer; America’s oldest brewery Yuengling. The nearly 200-year-old brewery has recently announced the release of a low ABV craft beer option.

As the brewery says “raise the bar with the next generation of light beer. FLIGHT by Yuengling is easy-drinking, clean, crisp, and refreshing. FLIGHT is only 95 calories, 2.6g carbs, 4.2% ABV.”

Flight has already hit the market and is popping up at local establishments. Use the breweries beer finder to see where Flight is pouring near you.

Yuengling has already revitalized the industry when it comes to ordering a beer. If you’re reading this you know what it’s like to walk into a bar and say “I’ll have a lager”. Now….will future generations simply just ask for “a Flight”? Only time will tell.
