21 Locks Would Seem To Be Moving Forward With Opening In Morrisville

You can file this under hyper-local beer news. There’s no doubt about the excitement of a new brewery coming to town. There’s something about new beer to explore that gets local customers excited to walk through the doors. And in the case of 21 Locks, they have had the city of Morrisville in anticipation for many years.

The brewery has been teasing an opening as far back as 2017 with plenty of starts and stops in the past 6 years. It would now appear that they are once again publicly moving forward with the opening of their location, which is listed as 32 W Bridge St in Morrisville, PA on Google (however, it is worth noting there is no public PLCB license associated with this address).

As you can see below 21 Locks has become more active as of late on social media about construction taking place and hinting towards an opening.

In the past many years updates from the brewery simply consisted of photos of the space and the construction that was happening at their future brewery and taproom. The brewery would then go silent for a bit of time, leading locals to believe the project was being abandoned.

One sign that points to this time around being a bit different is the fact that the brewery is now advertising for employment. One of their most recent social media posts advertises the need for an Executive Chef/ Restaurant Manager (which suggests the brewery will house an onsite kitchen).

We have reached out to get a better sense of what the future looks like for 21 Locks with no response. We will update once more information is available. In the meantime, you can follow the brewery on Facebook and Instagram for their updates.
