A new brewery is taking shape in Atglen, as Tiny House Craft Beer is targeting an opening by the end of 2026.

Located at 205 Main Street, the brewery is being built inside a roughly 1,500-square-foot former garage. Owner and brewer Kyle Oberle purchased the property in 2024. The property originally included a condemned two-story house that was demolished before the sale, leaving the garage that is now being renovated.

The Tiny House name comes from Oberle’s own experience. Early in his brewing career, he and his wife built and lived in a tiny house for about three years as they worked to keep expenses down while paying off college.

When it opens, Tiny House Craft Beer will have about 30 seats inside, another 20 outside in a beer garden, and an eight-seat bar. The brewery is planning a 10-tap system and is still deciding between a three or five barrel brewing system.

Oberle has spent more than a decade working in the brewing industry. After graduating from Elizabethtown College, where his interest in craft beer had started, he began brewing professionally with Birds’ Nest Brewing in Carlisle. He later worked at Center Square Brewing, Big Hill Cider Works, and Victory Brewing before joining Bespoke Brewing, where he currently works.

The initial beer lineup is expected to include a light American lager, a West Coast IPA, an East Coast IPA, and an amber ale as core beers. Rotating taps will feature additional lagers, darker beers, sours, and other styles, adding variety to the tap list as the brewery develops.

Food will also be part of the plan from the beginning. Tiny House Craft Beer will initially focus on deli and café-style sandwiches such as chicken salad, BLTs, and chicken caprese, with smoked meats playing a role. Oberle eventually hopes to expand into pasta dishes, burgers, cheesesteaks, and other entrees as the operation grows.

Tiny House Craft Beer is currently targeting a November or December 2026 opening. With construction underway, more details and an official opening date are expected as the project gets closer to welcoming its first customers.
