February 2024
EBF Holdings LLC vs Bald Birds Brewing
EBF Holdings LLC filed a civil complaint against Bald Birds Brewing Company LLC and owner Joseph Alan Feerrar in February 2024 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, which was subsequently resolved out of court alongside related agreements
June 2024
CAPTECH Financial, LLC sues for broken lease agreement
In June 2024 CAPTECH Financial, LLC reached an out-of-court settlement with Joseph Feerrar’s Bald Birds Brewing Company in to resolve a lawsuit centered on a default under a real property Master Lease Agreement for brewery equipment. Bald Birds Brewing agreed to pay $83,805 to terminate the leas
December 2025
Parkview Advance LLC v. Bald Birds Brewing Company LLC
In December 2025, Parkview Advance purchased $300,000 of future receivables for $200,000 via an agreement signed by Feerrar as “owner” of each entity, including Yards Brewing. After a default, a settlement stipulation was executed that allowed a default judgment to be entered against all named parties. Yards separately moved to vacate the default judgment and dismiss the action.
February 2026
Bald Birds Audubon landlord sues for $1.5 million
In February 2026, the property’s landlord, MSM 970 Rittenhouse Rd., LLC, filed a major legal complaint against Bald Birds in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas (MSM 970 Rittenhouse Rd., LLC v. Bald Birds Brewing Company, LLC, Case No. 2026-03287). The lawsuit was filed as a complaint in Confession of Judgment, seeking an enormous $1,515,623.33 in unpaid rent, lease obligations, and associated damages by the brewing company.
March 2026
1st Alliance Group LLC v. B3 Beverage Company LLC
1st Alliance filed suit in March 2026 to recover damages following an alleged breach of revenue purchase agreement and personal guarantee. The suit named Yards alongside Feerrar and his B3/Bald Birds entities. Yards moved to dismiss the complaint against it. The court found that Joseph Feerrar had no actual or apparent authority to bind Yards to the underlying sale of future receipts agreement.
May 2026
Immediate Capital Solutions, LLC v. B3 Beverage Company LLC
On May 14, 2026, the plaintiff voluntarily filed a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal Without Prejudice specifically as to Yards Brewing Company, LLC only, leaving the remaining claims against Feerrar and his Bald Birds/B3 entities to proceed.

Two Roads Seeks $18.5 Million Judgment Against Bald Birds Brewing
Connecticut-based Two Roads Brewing Company and investor W. Whitney George filed an $18.5 million Complaint in Confession of Judgment in Philadelphia against Bald Birds Brewing Company, founder Joseph Feerrar, and seven related corporate entities following a breakdown in their B3 Beverage partnership. Citing defaults on commercial business agreements, the filing utilizes a legal mechanism that enables creditors to secure an immediate financial judgment without a prolonged trial.
April 2026
Avanza Capital Holdings, LLC Vs. Four Birds Distilling Company, LLC
On April 30, 2026, Avanza Capital Holdings, LLC filed an open commercial contract lawsuit against Four Birds Distilling Company, LLC (a part of the Bald Birds network of companies) in the New York Supreme Court for Kings County. The lawsuit alleges that Avanza provided an upfront $1,500,000 Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) to purchase $2,340,000 in future business receivables, but the defendants defaulted on December 25, 2025, by diverting revenue away from the designated bank account. After accounting for $531,875 in payments remitted before and after the default, plus a $7,500 blocked account fee, Avanza is seeking a joint and several money judgment of $1,815,625, along with interest, court costs, and attorney’s fees.
September 2026
Pennsylvania recovers over $600,000 in unpaid wages against Bald Birds
The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry recovered nearly $650,000 from Bald Birds Brewing Company, comprising $582,782 in back pay for 124 workers and $64,227.87 in damages, following an audit into chronic payroll delays across its locations that left staff unpaid for up to five weeks. The settlement comes alongside broader financial distress for the brewery, including recent taproom closures and substantial legal battles over unpaid rent and partnership disputes.
