“Play the Song!” 2SP Brewing Releases New LeBron James Inspired IPA

The King has arrived in Philadelphia, and 2SP Brewing is celebrating with a new beer inspired by the Sixers’ biggest offseason addition.

“Play the Song!” is a 4.8% hazy IPA hopped with Idaho 7 and Galaxy hops, delivering a fruit-forward flavor for those who enjoy a more sessionable IPA. This limited-edition beer hits draft lines and cans on Friday, October 16, with wider distribution expected next week.

LeBron James officially signed with the Philadelphia 76ers on July 27, 2026, after spending the previous eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. Now wearing No. 23 for the Sixers, James is bringing plenty of attention to Philadelphia, and apparently some new beer inspiration, too.

We have a feeling this won’t be the last LeBron James-inspired beer we see from Pennsylvania breweries!
