Two Hanover businesses are bringing their hometown pretzel connection to a new variety pack, with Aldus Brewing Company using Wege Pretzels in a collection inspired by its popular Pretzel Wheat Ale.
The new Pretzel Variety 12-Pack features four flavors, combining Aldus’ signature pretzel beer with three sweet and salty snack options.

Here’s what you’ll find in the pack:
Pretzel Wheat Ale: Aldus’ original pretzel beer, brewed with more than 160 pounds of real pretzels. It features toasted grain, light caramel, and buttered-toast notes, along with a fresh-baked pretzel character and a clean, dry finish.
Chocolate Pretzel: Real Wege Pretzels paired with smooth, rich chocolate for a sweet take on the classic snack.
Peanut Butter Pretzel: A combination of creamy peanut butter and crunchy pretzel goodness.
Salted Caramel Pretzel: A returning seasonal favorite that balances sweet caramel with a touch of salt.

The new variety pack builds on Aldus’ established connection to pretzels through its Pretzel Wheat Ale, taking that idea beyond the pint glass. Both Aldus Brewing and Wege Pretzels are based in Hanover, a town known as “Snack Town” for its long history of pretzels, chips, and other snack foods.
The Pretzel Variety 12-Pack is expected to arrive at select retailers, distributors, taprooms, and specialty food outlets throughout Pennsylvania and western Maryland beginning the first week of November.
