Opening Weekend Of Philly Beer Week
Philly Beer Week begins Friday, June 1st and runs over the next 10 days! The first weekend is filled with plenty of fun from not just breweries all across PA but across the country as well! Join us at Opening Tap on Friday and make your way through the city all weekend long.
Urban Village 1 Year Anniversary Party
Urban Village is celebrating their 1st anniversary all weekend long, and you are invited! There will be music, beers (both classics and a new release) and even a Pig Roast! On Friday, June 1st they will have a can release of Super Villain IPA plus a special bottle release of Dime Piece and Happy Birthday. On Saturday, June 2nd they’ll have a pig roast and serving will start at 3pm!
Cruise & Brewz at MMBC
Join Moss Mill Brewing on Saturday, June 2nd for an afternoon and evening of good beer, music, food, movies, and a car cruise! The show begins at 3:00 pm. There will be cars, live music, food trucks and of course…. beer! They will also be playing Fast & Furious on an outdoor movie screen. Rain date – Sunday June 3rd.

Brewery Grand Opening Street Party & Can Release!
Chatty Monks Brewing Company’s Grand Opening of its new production facility and First-Ever Can Release Event an amazing Colab with FreeWill Brewery! Their family / dog friendly event will include BEER (the first one is FREE on them!) FOOD, ICE CREAM, MUSIC, GAMES, GIVEAWAYS (hint: Grand prize is 2 tickets to the GABF 2018 in Denver). Join them Saturday, June 2nd starting at 11:00 for all the fun!
Cornhole Tournament & Chicken Barbecue
2 on 2 Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, June 2nd at the Red Rose Restaurant & Lounge. $10 per team with 100% payout. 80/20 split for first and second place. Freedom BBQ will be smoking up some chicken quarters, baked potatoes, and your choice of smoked Mac & Cheese or baked beans all for $8. Come out for a day of summer fun!! And as always they will have their Saturday happy hour $6 domestic pitchers from 6-10.
Cheesy Food Truck Festival
All weekend long Spring Gate Vineyards is celebrating their Cheesy Food Truck Festival! You’ll find your favorite food truck vendors offering menu items with a variety of scrumptious cheeses to pair with all of their libations of wine, beer, cider, cocktails and wine slushies. There is no ticket for entrance and, everything is a la carte.

Join Strange Roots this Sunday, June 3rd for a one of a kind tacollaboration between Strange Roots and some of the city’s best food trucks. You’ll get a chance to sample classic options from traditional taco trucks, as well as innovative takes on the genre from some unexpected food truck heavyweights. DudeFest 3
The third annual DudeFest is back at Erie Ale Works! Join them Saturday, June 2nd as the dudes from The Que Abides and EAW team up for an afternoon of the best of both worlds – beer & BBQ. New this year: Northern Scoop Craft Ice Cream is with them scoopin’ up some serious ice cream.
History on Tap
On Sunday, June 3rd learn the history behind the hops as part of a special History on Tap event featuring Dr. Theresa McCulla – the Smithsonian’s first-ever historian of craft brewing and beer! Mark Brewer, author/illustrator of “Brewology: An Illustrated Dictionary for Beer Lovers,” will join Dr. McCulla to discuss Pittsburgh’s expanding brewing scene.
