Beer Events Happening This Weekend: June 26th – 28th

It’s finally the weekend! Regardless of what part of the keystone state you live in, we’ve got your weekend plans covered. Here are some of the best beer-related events coming up this weekend.

EASTERN PA

Grand Opening Spring Arts Beer Garden

The Spring Arts Beer Garden announces its grand opening at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 26th, located at 1006 Buttonwood Street in Philadelphia. The beer garden will be open every Saturday from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm through Labor Day. Guests can enjoy beers from four local breweries; Love City Brewing, Roy Pitz Brewing Company, Triple Bottom Brewing Company, and Yards Brewing Co.

New Ridge Brewing Opens For Take Out Beer

New Ridge Brewing has been working feverishly to open the doors to their new brewery in Philadelphia. And while they aren’t opening with full seating, they will officially have beer available starting Friday, June 26th.

Friday Night at the Farm

Gather with old friends and meet new ones in the Pennsylvania countryside Friday night, June 26th at Great Barn Brewery farm. The event happens once a month in Kintnersville, PA. Besides the beer sampling and can sales this event helps to connect the community to the beverages, and the people who grow, produce and brew it. Relax and enjoy farm-fresh beer, beautiful views and bonfire.


CENTRAL PA

SpringGate Brewing Cherry Festival

Join SpringGate Brewery (Harrisburg) at their Cherry Festival this Saturday, June 27th. Help them celebrate this wonderful stone fruit while enjoying bottles or cans of their libations including a cherry wine slushy in the Meadow. Their canned Cherry Mello will be on sale for a special price! Some of their favorite food trucks will be on-site!

On Deck Live At Appalachian Brewing

Come on out to the deck at The Abbey Bar at Appalachian Brewing (Harrisburg) onFriday June 26th for some brews and tunes compliments of Shine Delphi. The party runs from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.


WESTERN PA

Blue Sparrow at Eleventh Hour

One of our favorite food trucks will be parked outside one of our favorite Pittsburgh breweries. Which is cause to celebrate! Stop by Eleventh Hour Brewing this Friday, June 26th in Lawrenceville. Grab a cold beer and pair it with one of the many delicious items Blue Sparrow has to offer. They’ll be parked outside from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.

Abjuration Brewing DVCMA v1.0 Can Release

Abjuration Brewing (Mckees Rocks) is dropping more cans this weekend! Join them Friday, June 26th for the release of “Double Vanilla Cookie Milkshake Ale (DVCMA v1.0).” This 8.3% milkshake beer is brewed with 2-row, wheat, oats, cookie malt, maltodextrin and milk sugar (lactose) for a full body with a residual sweetness.
