Bill’s Best Brewery To Expand, Doubling Its Current Taproom In Glenside

Bill’s Best Brewery has been open since March 2019, at 57 S Keswick Avenue in Glenside, PA. The brewery has recently announced plans to expand its current space! The estimated time for this space to be finished and open will be the end of summer 2023.

We spoke with owner Jason Fehon to learn more about the changes coming soon to Bill’s Best Brewery.

After being open for 4 years now in a space that was 1,400 sq/ft, the brewery is now expanding into another 1,400 sq/ft, in the middle of the building. The new space will house all beer production, and the original space will become all seating. They currently have seating for 15 at the bar, and 28 at the tables. This expansion allows them to double, and add at least 30 more table seats.

Bill’s Best will continue to brew on their 1BBL brewhouse but will be expanding and upgrading to a 5BBL brewhouse within the next year. They will also be purchasing a small canning line. This expansion allows for more barrels so the brewery can expand into barrel-aged stouts and sours, specifically Flemish red ales, which Jason mentioned they can’t wait to start producing.

In addition to more barrel-aged beers, the expansion will help the brewery produce more lagers. They currently have 13 taps and a hand pump and are known for traditional Czech and German-style beers, as well as some English styles.

With the expansion comes an additional day the brewery will be open, they will be adding Wednesdays from 4PM-10PM.

Currently, in addition to their current indoor setting, the 3,000 sq/ft beer garden at Bill’s Best is open Friday-Sundays and can seat 68-70.
