What do you do when you have passion for craft beer and old school music? You open a brewery of course! Which is exactly the case as Inner Groove Brewing opens later this year at 751 E. Railroad Ave in Verona. We recently visited the team behind the brewery to learn more about what customers can expect soon.
The music all starts in the name. Not being music aficionados ourselves during our visit we learned about the inner groove of a vinyl record. If you’re like us and need help on the subject, here you go.
During our visit we met with 3 of the 4 members of the team; Jen, Kevin and Tim. (Sorry we missed you Kelly [the fourth member of the team]). Kevin and Tim are the brewer’s behind the operation. Tim having home brewed since the 90’s and Kevin as recently as 4 years ago.
What was once an interior design shop, this 4,000 square foot location will operate a 7 barrel brewery with 16 taps available, offering occupancy for as many as 90 guests. The goal behind the brewery is to be engaging with the customer while also offering a wide variety of beer, regardless of the customers taste.

We said how passionate they were about music, right? It doesn’t stop at the name of the brewery. As we were told they will incorporate music lyrics into the name of their beers. They shared how they have done this already at local beer fests and guests have sometimes correctly guessed the song. So when opening day arrives, don’t be afraid to walk up to the bar and try your hand at which song you are drinking.
While not offering a full food menu, the brewery will work with local food trucks to provide customers a complete dining experience. With outlet chargers on the bar you may never leave!
