The team at Cinderlands Beer recently unveiled a makeover to their original taproom and brewery in Pittsburgh. “Long Story Short” officially re-opens in the Lawrenceville neighborhood on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023.
The space originally started as the brewing company’s lone taproom and brewhouse when it first opened in 2017. When Cinderlands expanded its brewing operations with the opening of their warehouse location in May of 2019 the original taproom rebranded as the Foederhouse. The Foederhouse was used as a location for the brewing company to fine-tune saisons, wild ales, and oak-fermented lager beer through special foeders.
And now the Foederhouse transforms into “Long Story Short”; a location that will put an emphasis on “sammies in the front, party in the back” (as their tagline goes).
As you may know from our past profiles of the brewing company, Cinderlands has become just as synonymous with its beer as they have food, offering one of the best robust dining experiences you will find in Pennsylvania craft beer. And “Long Story Short” will be a location that allows them to continue on this mission.
While their main taproom and brewery menu offers a robust flavor profile of smoked dishes and complex flavor profiles, Long Story Short will put more of a focus on “fast casual dining”. The menu will feature sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, sides, and more; made with the love and attention Cinderlands delivers to all of its menu offerings.
In addition to their menu “Long Story Short” will offer a full rotating list of draft beers and house-made cocktails to round out the dining experience, giving the city of Lawrenceville another great location for a night out. You can see their full menu here.
