East End Brewing To Close Taproom In The Strip

Sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward. And such is the case as East End Brewing announces the closure of their Taproom in the Strip on Sunday, June 30th.

The announcement came via the post on Instagram below:

As you can see, the motivation behind the closure is to focus on growth at their brewery. As we recently announced they have teamed with award winning chef Justin Severino to expand dining operations at the main brewery.

Adding to the kitchen is a beautiful outdoor space that will complete the brewery experience making it a must visit in the steel city.

When we spoke with Scott Smith, owner of East End, his excitement for the expansion was palpable. “We’re all super excited about this partnership. To be able to serve our beer, along side food from a nationally recognized chef who is at the absolute top of his game, is a bit of a dream come true for us at East End Brewing” Smith said.

While it’s sad to see the strip taproom go, we can’t help but be excited for what’s yet to come. One step back…. many steps forward.
