Evil Genius Teams With The GIANT Company On “Evil Genius And The Giant Peach”

Evil Genius Beer Company, with a location in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia, has recently teamed with the folks at The GIANT Company on the release of “Evil Genius and The Giant Peach” IPA.

The beer itself is a 6.5% double dry-hopped peach hazy IPA, brewed on a big base of oats and infused with all-natural peach. It’s hopped with Citra and Mosaic and is described as bursting with juicy, fruity flavor.

“The GIANT Company has been a great partner of Evil Genius for years, they really respect local throughout their stores, and we were honored to be chosen by them.” – says Luke Bowen, co-owner of Evil Genius.

Evil Genius and The Giant Peach will be available exclusively at the 124 Giant Food Stores throughout the state of PA, available now for $10.99 per four-pack. In addition, $1 from every purchase at Giant will benefit Sharing Excess to help deliver excess food to those in need. ⁣This beer is somewhat limited, around 1,000 cases were made, and there will also be a special limited release at Evil Genius’ brewery “The Lab” on Front Street in Philadelphia.

Partnering together with a local Pennsylvania craft beer producer is all a part of the “PA Preferred” initiative that GIANT has been operating for over a year now. An initiative that shines a special spotlight on food and beverages sold by the retailer specifically made in Pennsylvania.

The GIANT Company has been involved in a few other beer collaborations lately: “One GIANT Leap” IPA (brewed with Conshohocken Brewing Company), and “Hazy Little GIANT” (brewed with Roy Pitz Brewing Company)
