First Sip Brew Box has been working with Rwanda’s first craft brewery, Kweza Craft Brewing, since November 2021. They have been working with Kweza to help fulfill merchandise, as well as in raising money, through an Indiegogo campaign, to build a brewery and taproom to open in early 2022.
Now First Sip is throwing a party on behalf of Kweza Craft Brewing, and inviting everyone! The event is sponsored by Two Frays Brewing and CNC Malt.
On Saturday, March 26th, 2022, the Party On The Block will be held from 3-6 PM at 150 Brownsville Road, in the Mt. Oliver neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
Details:
• First Sip will be selling brew boxes containing Kweza merchandise.
• Release of their special collab beer wth Two Frays Brewing called “Burning Lips”. This beer was made with a mixture of sorghum (from CNC Malt!), corn, sweet potato, and hibiscus.
• Beer available from both Two Frays Brewing and Inner Groove Brewing
• Small businesses from all over Mt. Oliver will be set up to sell their products and showcase themselves to the Pittsburgh community.
• The event will have live music from Byron Nash!
For those that can’t attend the event, but still want to contribute, you can purchase Kweza brew boxes on their website with 10% being donated back to Kweza!
