Four Points Brewing Expanding With New Taproom in Pittsburgh’s Northside Neighborhood

Four Points Brewing has been known for its great beer since opening in 2018, 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh, in downtown Charleroi. Now Pittsburgh beer fans won’t have to go far to get their beers.

The brewery has recently announced they are planning to open a new taproom in the Northside neighborhood at 919 Western Avenue. This new space will be within walking distance to Heinz Field and PNC Park. Four Points is hoping to open this location in the Spring/Summer of 2021 for walk-in service depending on COVID restrictions.

We spoke with owner Dave Barbe to clarify some of the details currently available. He mentioned this space will be a taproom only, with all the brewing operations remaining in Charleroi. And that all their beer releases will eventually be made available at both locations, as well as their wholesale accounts.

We will follow up on this story as the new space develops, and the brewery gets more details worked out.
