Giant Eagle, the historic grocery chain based in Western PA, recently announced a home delivery service known as BeerVan.com. This service will allow for craft, domestic and imported beer delivered right to your front door.
A spokesperson for Giant Eagle was quoted by WTAE as saying; “We’ve created BeerVan as a complement to the variety of convenience solutions we already have in place for our time-starved customers,” said Jannah Jablonowski, Giant Eagle spokesperson. “We’re excited to give our customers the ability to check one more thing off their to-do list without ever having to leave home.”
Payment for BeerVan products and services must be made via PayPal®. Upon delivery of the beer the recipient must provide a valid government-issued photo identification to the delivery personnel. Beer ordered through the service is promised as being delivered within 2 hours of the order.
Deliveries cost $4.99 and are made Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Beer delivery will be limited to the following zip codes: 15201, 15206, 15213, 15224, 15232, and 15260. As of right now Pennsylvania beer from Yuengling, Victory, Troegs and East End are available for delivery.
