Mark your calendars, because Hopping Eagle Brewing opens their brewery on Saturday, August 24th at 12:00 noon! The brewery will be located at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley.
The brewery will be located in the historical Hawley Silk Mill, which has been a part of the local community since 1880. It has taken the shape of many previous locations in the past; from a silk factory to a textile factory and antique center. It is considered the center that celebrates the lifestyle of the Pocono Lake Region – a place for the residents and visitors to shop, gather, eat, exercise… and now drink delicious craft beer!
The brewery is a one barrel nano location, however with multiple fermenter’s on site there will be plenty of liquid to be produced. Food will not be available for purchase, however the location will allow outsiders to BYOF (bring your own food).
Guests will enjoy a rotating list of beer flavors and styles. From IPAs, Stouts, Brown Ale, Blonde Ale, seasonal and experimental beers. Because of their smaller system, it will allow them to brew a new beer quite often.
