Great Barn Closes Warrington Taphouse; Citing “Reasons Beyond Our Control”

The team at Great Barn Brewing has announced the closing of their Taphouse in Warrington. As their official post goes on to say the closure is due to the inability “to reach an agreement with our property owners of Valley Square”.

Known as the first farm brewery in Bucks County, Great Barn is the brainchild of married couple Maryana and Steve Ferguson. Brewing operations are located on their family farm, with most of the grains and water that go into their beer are grown right at the brewery.

For those not familiar the taphouse originally opened in April of 2021. The concept was to “bring the same level of attention to food as we have to our farm fresh beer. All the local ingredients, spices, herbs, peanut butter and chocolate that finds its way into our beer is now on our menu”. Over the next few years the location would become synonymous for their live music, robust food menu, all paired with locally made craft beer.

Great Barn continues to live on with their taproom in New Hope. No word has been shared on whether or not the taphouse concept will open elsewhere, but be sure to follow the brewery on Facebook and Instagram for all updates.
