One thing we always enjoy with our beer collaborations is the planning process with the breweries involved. Let’s be honest, we’re not the ones doing the technical work of brewing the beer. Our expertise lies in the marketing and planning of beer.
So when Wallenpaupack Brewing mentioned they wanted to produce a beer for Earth Day, we had only one idea in mind. And the Pocono area brewery was the perfect brewery to accomplish this. A beer-themed around the famous Recyclops character from The Office who was created as an Earth Day celebration.
Which is why we are excited to introduce “Recyclhops” that will release Thursday, April 15th at the brewery in Hawley. However, if you are reading this and are located anywhere in Pennsylvania, the beer will also be available for statewide shipping. We will then host a live happy hour of the beer on Earth Day (April 22nd) (more details on that soon).

• Brewed with experimental hop HBC 586 & Cryo hop blend TRI-2304CR
Logan Ackerley, Wallenpaupack Head Brewer, describes the beer as such;
“Recyclhops is a hazy pale ale brewed and dry hopped with Experimental Hop HBC 586 and Cryo Hop Blend TRI-2304CR. A smooth, light body gives way to bright flavors of grapefruit, white peach, and honeydew melon.”
In honor of this being an Earth Day celebrated beer a portion of the proceeds from the purchase of this beer will be donated to the Lake Wallenpaupack Watershed Management District. An organization that is committed to protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the water quality of Lake Wallenpaupack.
