Jackass Brewing Set To Expand To Williamsport In 2024

You can add Jackass Brewing to the many breweries who have announced expansion plans. The Lewisburg, PA brewery recently teased the expansion on social media.

The Facebook post directs to a photo from the Northcentral PA account showing a few workers working on the side of a building, presumably the future home of Jackass Brewing.

A corresponding report from Northcentral PA goes in to more detail of the planned expansion. According to the report the brewery plans to open at 301 W. Third Street in Williamsport. The report goes on to confirm the expansion with an official representative from Jackass saying “Yes, we can confirm that Jackass will be opening at that location sometime in 2024.”

Jackass Brewing first opened in March of 2020 and, as the story goes, started as a homebrewing hobby between founders Skip Kratzer and Larry Winans. The more they brewed, the more they realized there was a demand for their beer, and Jackass Brewing was born. The brewery operates a 7 bbl brewhouse producing a wide variety of beers out of their Lewisburg location.

As of this writing no license has been filed for the new space and there is no confirmation if this will be a taproom only or house brewing operations as well. But check back as more details as they become available. For now be sure to follow the brewery on Instagram and Facebook to continue to keep up with their growth.
