Levante Brewing Company, one of Chester County Pennsylvania’s popular craft breweries, recently announced the reopening of onsite draft service on Friday, November 6th, of their second, permanent location “Levante Stables”. Located in Chester Springs, Chester County, PA.
“Levante Stables” is a gorgeous 19th-century German farmhouse and stables property embodying the rural history and lifestyle of Chester County, Pennsylvania. The brewery operated the property as a pop-up summer beer garden in 2017, and returned in February 2020, two years later, with a newly renovated interior of the barn and stables building, featuring indoor and outdoor seating, a brick patio, and the original outside beer garden.
Unfortunately, like many businesses, Levante Stables had to close onsite operations in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Curbside Pickup services began in June, and on November 6th, onsite draft service operations will begin again both indoors and outdoors on the heated patio.
Before reopening in February, the property underwent extensive renovation work without structurally changing the historic farmhouse, barn, and stables buildings. The renovations in 2017 were graciously done by Kurt Gunther, brother of Fred Gunther the property owner. The renovation was continued by longtime friend Jeff Devlin, the host of HGTV and DIY Network’s “Stonehouse Revival”, who enhanced both the interior and exterior of the barn and stables.
Levante Stables is located just a short four minutes away from Marsh Creek State Park. Situated just a mile north of exit 312 for Downingtown on the Pennsylvania turnpike, it’s an easy drive from Central PA, Reading, Lancaster, and Harrisburg. Levante has also created a designated rideshare drop-off/pickup area near the front entrance for Uber and Lyft riders.
Customers can expect all of the latest artisanally crafted Levante beers on draught as well as their latest canned beer offerings to go.
