Back in 2016, Neshaminy Creek Brewing was hosting limited canning releases of “The Shape Of Hops To Come”. This beer has been huge for the brewery. Not only is this beer brewed and available 365 days a year as part of their “Creek Core”, but it has inspired a whole series of DIPA beers called “The Shape Of Haze To Come”.
The brewery has released Tropical Shape, Pineapple Shape, Cryo Shape, and now Acai Berry.
Acai Berry Shape of Haze to Come is the first completely new Shape of Haze variant since last fall’s Cryo Shape of Haze to Come was released and the brewery is very excited about this one.
AÇAÍ BERRY SHAPE OF HAZE TO COME
This new entrant into the series is an 8.8% double India pale ale brewed with Açaí and Blueberry. This beer sounds so delicious just by reading the brewery’s description:
“The Neshaminy Creek Wizard’s latest spell has been cast to conjure up a new twist on The Shape of Haze to Come featuring two superfruits; açaí, blueberry, and dragon fruit! White wheat, flaked oats, and flaked wheat provide a soft malt backbone allowing the Simcoe, Ekuanot, and Mosaic to shine through. Dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic for a punchy aroma and conditioned on açaí and blueberry puree for a distinctive flavor profile that’s slightly acidic, sweet, and fruity with hints of blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.”
