We first brought you the news of New Trail Brewing’s “Expedition Pack” back in December, for a PA collab 12-pack. Now the dates are set for release.
New Trail will begin shipping these packs to their distribution partners beginning January 25th, and beer fans can expect them to begin shipping to their retail partners in the coming days. The brewery anticipates these packs hitting some shelves in the later part of the week of January 25th, and continuing to hit the vast majority of its final destinations over the week of February 1st.
The NT taproom in Williamsport will be releasing the Expedition Pack on Friday, January 29th! Make sure to check the other participating Breweries in the pack for their release schedules.
The “Expedition Pack” is an ever-evolving adventure New Trail takes with their friends, seeking to further their knowledge in the exploration for a more perfect beer. The pack containers three 12oz cans of all 4 collaborations.

The Beers
Horizon – (4.5%) is a Dry-Hopped Pilsner brewed in collaboration with New Trail’s “cyborg friends” at Human Robot. This beer is brewed with German Pilsner malts and perspectively hopped with Mandarina Bavaria, Hallertau, and Tettnang. You can expect crisp bready notes backed by hop spice and light effervescent citrus.
Terra Firma – (8.1%) is a Hazy Double IPA brewed in collaboration with Dancing Gnome. This beer is brewed with lush oats, and terrestrial hopped with Citra, Chinook, Strata, and Columbus. Expect juicy fruity goodness with sharp conifer.
Confluence – (6.3%) is an American IPA brewed with East Branch Brewing. This beer is brewed with wheat and light caramel malts, and bondingly hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Cascade, & Chinook. Expect a clean bitterness backed by an amalgam of citrus fruits and deep pine.
Morning Necessities – (13.4%) is an Imperial Coffee Stout brewed in collaboration with Pizza Boy Brewing. Brewed with an amalgam of dark, caramel, and oat malts, and conditioned on Sabra coffee beans and choice vanilla. Expect sweet coffee-like notes backed with chocolate and decadent vanilla.
