In May of this year, we brought you the news that Bethlehem area brewery Seven Sirens Brewing had acquired Separatist Beer’s Silk Mill Blendery in Easton. And now the time has come for the brewery to officially open the doors to its second taproom.
The 6,000 square foot facility allows Seven Sirens to do more than just provide the Lehigh Valley with another local watering hole. The brewery did not just acquire the building, but also many of the contents within it. This included brewing tanks, a 15 barrel koelschip, several 30 barrel Italian Foeders, a bottling machine, and much more. The addition of this equipment will allow the brewery to immediately increase beer production.
As we learned, the opening of this new location is just phase one in a two-step process. In addition to the total overhaul that Seven Sirens did to the space, they also plan to build out a permanent bar, add a cold room, remodel/expand the bathrooms, and install a kitchen. Seven Sirens is teaming up with local food-legend Angelo Napoli from Modern–Fusion Catering. They will provide a simple but elegant beer-centric menu. Angelo’s team will provide all of the catering for any and all events held at this location.
