Spring Hill Brewing Grand Opening July 13th In Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh craft beer scene continues to grow, and that is the case as Spring Hill Brewing opens on July 13th! And they want you to join them for the party all weekend long at their brewery on Varley Street.

The party starts Friday, July 13th at 5:00 PM. Then will continue the next day, also at 5:00. They will have five of their flagships on tap as well as non-alcoholic beverages, and some light entertainment.

The brewery will then continue to be open every Friday and Saturday.

Here are the beers you can expect to enjoy:

Sunrise // fluffy and light ale // Brewed with lots of wheat and rye // Spiced with coriander, chamomile, and a smidgen of caraway // Saison + wit yeasts // Notes of rye bread, clove, and ripe yellow fruits // 3.2% abv, 12 ibu

Afternoon // mild farmhouse ale // After Work Beer with a straight forward noble and new world hop profile // Saison + monastery yeasts // Notes of lightly dried fruits, bright and spicy citrus, freshly baked bread // 4.5% abv, 30 ibu

Setting Sun // hoppy red ale // Hopped assertively with cascade, centennial, and bravo // Monastery + English yeasts // smooth hop bitterness rounded out with refreshing citrusy and floral aromas // 5% abv, 50 IBU

Dusk // belgian nut brown ale //  made from a sticky mash of oats and toasted barley // Saison + monastery yeasts // extra malt texture, notes of slow roasted fruits and spice, everything nice // 4% abv, 20 ibu

Moonrise // farmhouse porter // roasted and cherrywood smoked malts // notes of campfire brownies, roasted ripe plums, delicate fruit and smoke // 4.2% abv, 15 ibu
