Tattered Flag Distillery Lounge to Replace Hershey Biergarten

If you’re a Hershey local you are probably very familiar with the Hershey Biergarten. They pride themselves on offering the areas largest selection of craft beer. The space includes 12 rotating craft beers on tap, mix and match bottle shop and a great bites menu.

The Biergarten recently announced they will be closing Monday, November 4th with the plans of Tattered Flag Brewery & Still Works opening a new location in the space soon after. We recently spoke with Kerri Miller, Director of Marketing for Tattered Flag to learn more about the space.

The new Distillery Lounge will focus towards the companies distilled products. “Essentially, emphasizing the Still Works in ‘Tattered Flag Brewery & Still Works’” Miller said. “We’re looking into expanding our canned cocktail product line as we’ve received positive responses from our canned Hurricanes and Moscow Mules.”

While the Distillery Lounge will focus more on cocktails and liquors, they will also provide a wide range of local craft on draft from Pennsylvania beers everywhere. Plus, there will be the same great staff and overwhelming food menu the space has been known for. Tattered Flag will also add a tapas bar to the space as well. Featuring items such as tacos, salads, and customizable sandwiches. A brunch menu is also being considered.

Not much with the physical layout of the space will change. It will continue to operate the large location which includes the Escape Rooms and outdoor seating. “Overall, we really wanted our Distillery to be able to have its’ own identity” Miller added.

Make sure to track the growth of this space first hand by following Tattered Flag on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
