For those unaware (or needing a recap) Tied House, which is owned by St. Boniface Craft Brewing has recently come under scrutiny for hosting an event put on by individuals from the Mid Atlantic Reformation Society. For those not familiar we documented the subject here.
To sum it up the group hosting the event is tied to publications that are derogatory towards the LGBTQI+ community.
In fact, one of the speakers being featured at the event has shared his thoughts on the LGBTQI+ community below.
In response the backlash St. Boniface originally posted on social media however quickly deleted that post. (You can read more about that here). It would now appear that the Tied House has come out with a statement of their own.

In the response, they go on to suggest politics may play a part in the situation with statements such as ” if you noticed, even though the election is over” and ” it’s an election year”. However there is no comment on the status of the event, which, as of this writing, would appear to continue to take place featuring the speaker above.

Update #1: As of 12:15 PM it would appear the Mid Atlantic Reformation Society has discussed moving the location of their event.
