As we recently shared, Pennsylvania has lifted mask mandates for most indoor activities for full vaccinated individuals. In response to this many have asked us if breweries will be dropping their mandates as well. The easiest answer is to check with your favorite local brewery to understand their plans because each business is making its own decision.
However, it appears one of the largest breweries in PA will be removing the mask mandate. Tröegs Brewing announced the following over social media:
#FeelGoodFriday news! If you're fully vaccinated, you no longer have to wear a mask at #Troegs. The majority of our co-workers will be fully vaccinated come May 19. Until then, we'll still be wearing masks. Up next – bringing back tours. Stay tuned! https://t.co/3GGxvlTvAO pic.twitter.com/Tc6B2Y6KIJ

As you can see, the brewery has announced that if you are fully vaccinated, you do not have to wear a mask. They go on to share that the majority of their employees be fully vaccinated by May 19th. Check here for any other questions regarding visiting the brewery.
This is one of the first (and largest) breweries in the state to officially make the announcement. As we shared above, the decisions are ultimately made by each brewery individually. So make sure to check with the brewery and their policies beforehand, and make sure to respect their decision either way.
