Von C Brewing Company is celebrating its one-year anniversary June 3rd-5th. The festivities start on Friday 6/3 and continue through the weekend, with Sunday being the First Anniversary Festival. See below for what the brewery has planned each day.
Located at 1210 Stanbridge Street in Norristown, they opened for the first time on June 5th, 2021. With a 20 BBL brewhouse, and 16,000 sq/ft facility, the brewery quickly became popular with beer fans seeking many of the lagers they produce. Von C even won the 2021 Breweries In PA Readers’ Choice Award for “Best New Brewery”.
Founded on a family tradition, brothers Rick, Eric, and Jay von Czoernig are sixth-generation brewers, dating back to 1860 when their great, great, great grandfather Christian Schmidt founded Schmidt’s Brewery in Philadelphia. Their father, uncles, and grandfather, and so on, were all Master Brewers. One visit to their taproom and you will see why the family tradition of brewing is living stronger than ever.
