Yards Brewing Teams With Connor Barwin On Beer Collab For Charity

Yards Brewing (Philadelphia, PA) has teamed with former Eagle Connor Barwin and his Make The World Better Foundation to launch their exclusive “Make The World Better IPA”. A beer which will be brewed at the brewing facility in Philadelphia…. made for Philadelphia.

Make The World Better connects people and inspires stewardship through public space revitalization projects. They believe community-based redevelopment projects have a unique ability to strengthen neighborhoods by creating a sense of ownership over public spaces.

The foundation engages residents in all phases of a project, from concept to construction to ongoing programming and upkeep. They design with and for the community—pushing beyond typical play space design: they’ve built community garden plots, a media lab, have painted murals and more!

The IPA is brewed with simcoe hops and local spruce tips, resulting in an appealing, soft citrus flavor. A percentage of proceeds will benefit the revitalization of local Philadelphia neighborhoods.

The beer will release at a special media event only on Friday, November 1st (we’ll give you a first look) then available for draft shortly after.
