34 Foot Beer Can Mural Painted On Twisted Gingers Brewery To Celebrate 3rd Anniversary

Twisted Gingers Brewery is celebrating its 3rd anniversary in a big way!

The Manayunk-based brewery has had a 34-foot mural painted on the entry of their building. The mural is of their Mayer Light Blonde Ale can, as the brewery says “the beer that started it all”. Twisted Gingers currently has a can contest going on that involves the mural! See the details below!

Read what Twisted Ginger’s owner and brewer had to say about it all!:

“The idea was born 2 years ago over a few beers in an empty taproom with my landlord while appreciating the unique shape of the building. The pandemic lockdown brought on a lot of stress for a 3-month-old brewery, but survival mode is an amazing mindset when failing isn’t an option. Developing the pizza program and learning to can were immediate solutions to keep the bills paid, but elevating the neighborhood was a goal that started to take shape.

The plan came together with a multitude of resources that were never considered until we broke it down and figured out the ‘how to’ step by step. Pretty proud to have a 34-foot can you have to walk through to enter the taproom. This is an awesome tribute to my father who taught me how to get things done and still have fun!”
