The Cowboys Eagles rivalry runs very deep. Ask any fan of either team and the passion seethes from their pores. It turns friend against friend and brother against brother. So when Weyerbacher brewed their “Dallas Sucks” beer it was only a matter of time until someone in Dallas was going to hit back.
And Noble Rey did just that. On Tuesday they announced on Facebook a new beer called “Eagle Tears”
Not much of a description yet on the beer. It’s listed as a Gose and will be out in the coming weeks, limited taps to start and cans exclusively in the Noble Rey taprooms. But based on the picture above the message is pretty clear.
Noble Rey has seem to come over the top with this one. While Weyerbacher’s beer is branded in the theme of Dallas, the city in Texas, “Eagle Tears” hits a little harder with a Philadelphia Eagle themed logo.
Now it just begs one more question; how will Philly respond?
