We are of the belief that any good that can go on right now is a great thing. No matter how big of a gesture. This is why when we found out that Dock Street Brewery out of Philadelphia was donating pizzas to healthcare workers, we just had to share.
For $20 you can offer to donate a pizza to any number of local Philadelphia based hospitals.
From the brewery:
“During Quarantine Week 2, we delivered a bunch of pizzas as a treat for some of the Drs + Nurses at Jefferson Hospital. It made them so happy, and in turn made US so happy, that we definitely want to keep this up. We’ll continue donating pizzas each week, and would love to share the opportunity with our neighbors and regulars to (safely) do the same! Pay for a large pizza online right here, and we’ll include it in our next delivery to healthcare workers.”
Donating the pizza is simple. Just go to this site and order the pizza, that simple! Once ordered, the brewery will include your name on a printed card, along with any message you want to include to thank these amazing folks.
To date deliveries have gone to Jefferson, Lankenau, UP and Penn Hospital. If you have any hospitals or offices to nominate for the next delivery you can email the brewery to nominate a hospital or office!
