Yellow Bridge Brewing Celebrates 10 Years Of Great Beer, Pizza, and Community

Yellow Bridge Brewing is celebrating 10 years in Pennsylvania’s craft beer scene. Since opening in Delmont in November 2016, owner Ian Staab has grown the business into two taprooms, two pizza kitchens, and a popular destination for great beer and food in Westmoreland County.

To celebrate the milestone, Yellow Bridge has a weekend of special releases and events planned at its Delmont and Greensburg locations.

The biggest beer release arrives Friday, November 6, with Midnight X, the brewery’s first barrel-aged stout. The imperial stout was aged in a Blanton’s barrel from Buffalo Trace and a Journeyman Distillery bourbon barrel. It features notes of chocolate, coffee, and bourbon. Midnight X will be available on draft and in limited 750ml bottles.

The brewery has also released Midnight Party Imperial Stout, featuring birthday cake, chocolate, and vanilla notes. It’s available on draft at both taprooms.

A Look Back at Yellow Bridge Brewing

Yellow Bridge opened in November 2016 in Delmont. The brewery became known for its rotating beer lineup and popular Dude series of IPAs and pale ales. The original Dude Wanted Juice started after a regular customer suggested the brewery try a New England-style IPA. The name stuck, and the series became one of its recognizable offerings.

Beer wasn’t the only thing that grew over the years. As we previously reported in our feature on Yellow Bridge’s pizza, Ian originally got into making pizza after finding himself without food options one evening. What started with a small portable oven eventually grew into a full pizza operation, complete with an industrial oven and dedicated pizza expertise.

In 2022, Yellow Bridge expanded with a second location, Yellow Bridge Brewing Tap and Table, in downtown Greensburg. The location opened in September that year and brought more of the brewery’s beers and pizza to the area.

Ten years later, Yellow Bridge continues to give customers plenty of reasons to stop in, whether it’s for a fresh IPA, a specialty stout, or one of its pizzas.
