Pullman Pilsner from South County Brewing Co.

Pullman Pilsner is a German-style pilsner with 5.0% ABV from South County Brewing Company located in Fawn Grove, PA.

Pullman pours to a light straw color with a good amount of carbonation that gives off an aroma of hay and roasted malts, with their sweetness mixing with a touch of hops. The sweet malty aroma actually gives way to a fairly hop forward tasting profile.

The hop piny bitterness fades though as the beer lingers on the tongue, letting the an earthy, hay-like quality take over the beer before rounding out with a sweet finish.

As the summer warmth has all but subsided, this offering from South County is a crisp, clean pilsner that can be downed with ease as you think longingly about less frigid days.
