We always start these articles the same way, but it never gets easier. While we love promoting Pennsylvania Craft Beer, we know there is a side to it that isn’t as fun. And it is sharing the news that a brewery is closing it’s doors.
Which is why we are sad to share that Black Cap Brewing (York, PA) is closing per this Facebook post below.

Before we say goodbye to Black Cap, we share their story.

“Black Cap Brewing Company is the dream of Co-Owners Greg Bentley and Jim Waller, both of whom share a strong desire to bring fresh, hand crafted beer of the highest quality to the community. Bentley and Waller want to share their passion for artisan beer exploration through their combined 25 years of homebrewing experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.”
We raise a glass to the folks at Black Cap Brewing. We look forward to seeing all the stories of the patrons that called this place home.
