Bonafide Beer Company Coming Soon To Pittsburgh’s Strip District

Bonafide Beer Company is coming to Pittsburgh’s Strip District, and they will be located on 21st & Penn, in what was formerly the Chicken Latino restaurant.

Sitting across from popular restaurant Pamela’s Diner, the brewery is the brainchild of owners Christian Simmons (President of Pennsylvania Libations and formerly a co-owner of Four Seasons Brewery), and Travis Tuttle (Brewer/Co-owner of Butler Brew Works).

Travis will continue his work at Butler Brew Works, making a wide range of beers that they’ve become known for. Bonafide Beer Co. will be a focus on very sessionable beers, one’s that you’re more inclined to buy a twelve-pack of, rather than a four-pack.

The small-batch pub in the strip is going to let Bonafide experiment and hone in recipes. Ultimately they’re shooting for larger distribution with a small number of core beers. They will also be focusing on an extensive whiskey program, as well as a barrel-aged cocktail program.

We will have more details soon after we talk with the brewery about their plans. For now, make sure to follow Bonafide Beer Co on Facebook and Instagram.
