Chai Milkshake Ale from Abjuration Brew Co. in McKees Rocks, PA takes the senses for a joyride. The nose is immediately hit with the sweet aromas of vanilla and the subtle spiciness of masala chai. The eyes admire the deep gold hue with the slightest bit of head, making it seem as if whipped cream was just added to the shake. Taste buds rejoice with the light, creaminess from the nitro and perfectly balanced blend of spices.

Lactose, wheat, wheat flour, flaked wheat and oats, give it a full body, but the combination of Magnum hops with black tea leaves, green cardamom, cinnamon and ginger root give it an intense, yet not overpowering, flavor.

At 4.7% and with such sweet smoothness, it’s practically guaranteed you’ll want one glass after another, like so many of the other quality beers Abjuration produces.
