Doldrums is a 6.2% ABV NE style IPA brewed by Railroad City Brewing Company (Altoona, PA). This beer is brewed with pearl malts and flaked oats. It’s hopped with Citra, Motueka, and azacca, and then dry hopped with all three.
Pouring to a cloudy yellow, you’ll get a thin white head in your glass. Aromas of bright citrus and assorted tropical fruits are very apparent, with some slight malt characteristics. Tasting Doldrums brings those bold citrusy flavors, while delivering a soft, creamy mouthfeel, and bot too bitter on the finish.
