Fury Of Darkness is a 11% ABV imperial stout brewed by Fury Brewing Company (Irwin, PA). This beer is brewed with cocoa nibs, chocolate malts, oats, and roasted barley.
This beer pours to a very dark black, forming a thin tan head in your glass. We noticed a lot of chocolate on the aromas, and could tell this was going to be a boozy one!
Tasting Fury Of Darkness brings those sweet chocolate flavors you would expect, along with a great roasted malt flavor, and slight coffee notes. You would think this brew has a thick mouthfeel, but it’s on the thinner side and absolutely delicious! Surprisingly smooth for 11%, we can only hope Fury barrel ages some of this down the line.
