Grand Opening: Zeroday Brewing Taproom March 23rd (Harrisburg)

Zeroday Brewing Company in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is set to open its new Taproom at 925 N. 3rd St in Harrisburg on Tuesday, March 23rd. The Taproom is one of three new retail locations the company has been working on as part of its expansion.

The new Taproom will be open 7 days a week for both lunch and dinner and has a capacity of 150 people between mixed indoor seating options and an expansive outdoor courtyard. It includes a private event space that can be utilized in a number of different capacities and can accommodate up to 60 people. The new location features a small batch 3-barrel brewhouse, which will allow Zeroday brewers to experiment with unique recipes and brewing techniques. The brewhouse is the focal point of the event space, which is an extension of the Taproom when it is not reserved for private events, allowing guests to view the brewing process as it happens there. There is a full fermentation cellar in the basement of the building as well as a separate barrel room for the brewers to expand their barrel-aging program.

Zeroday is partnering with La Catrina, which will provide a full-service dining experience featuring modern Mexican cuisine inspired by the heritage and culture of Chef Pedro Rincon Mexica. La Catrina was born from Chef Pedro’s desire to share the traditional cuisine of Mexico with his own unique contemporary approach. The partnership is truly a passion project for both the brewery and culinary teams, dedicated to bringing Harrisburg a truly personal representation of their individual crafts.

The original Taproom at 250 Reily St. is now entirely used for beer production. The company has expanded its production capacity by installing a larger brewhouse and increasing the brewery’s fermentation capabilities. The company also purchased a canning line in 2020 and now packages product on site in both can and keg formats.

While the Taproom and production facility were under construction throughout all of 2020, the Zeroday Outpost at the Broad Street Market continued operating and Zeroday also opened a second Outpost location in the Midtown Cinema at 250 Reily St in October. The Outpost at the Midtown Cinema is located in the same building as the production brewery with a mix of bar and table service as well as outdoor patio seating and a gourmet hot dog menu.

A fourth Zeroday location is currently under construction at the new Union Green in Linglestown in partnership with the owners of Shakedown BBQ.
