Black Friday is an interesting time of year for the craft beer community. It’s the one time of year when beer fans all over the world collectively decide it is OK to disregard the maker of their beverage and instead choose to chase after macro made options. [Editors note; we will never understand it]

But, we here at Breweries In PA don’t let fancy labels confuse us on who is really behind a beer brand. We stay loyal to our craft beer roots. At the same time, we also know that you have a yearning for a stout beer every Black Friday. (Preferably barrel-aged of course)

So that is why we offer you the solutions below to celebrate CRAFT beer throughout Pennsylvania. You can find events as well as individual beer releases happening all over Pennsylvania to celebrate accordingly.

BLACK AHT 2020 Stout Festival | Pittsburgh, PA

Join the team at Couch Brewery on Black Friday for their “Black Aht” (that’s yinzer for “out”) Stout Festival in Pittsburgh.

BLACK AHT will be an all-weekend event starting appropriately on Black Friday, November 27th, 2020. The brewery will have 10 stouts on tap – all brewed at Couch Brewery. All beers will be in cans and available online with limited quantities of cans available in house.

BLACK AHT will be a ticketed event this year. Tickets are $30 (plus tax and gratuity) and include a four pour flight of your choice, one 16oz pour, and a meal.

Ralphius Day | Perkasie, PA

Returning Friday, November 27th is the ever-popular Ralphius Day by Free Will Brewing! For those not familiar every Black Friday the brewery releases a multitude of variations of their Russian Imperial stout; Ralphius. Which clocks in at a whopping 15.6% ABV!

The thirteen variants pictured above will be available on the breweries online store at 9:00 AM starting Saturday, November 21st with pickup taking place on Black Friday. The beer will only be available for pickup at their Perkasie taproom and not at the Peddlars Village location or online shipping portal.

Neshaminy Creek Black Friday Release | Croydon, PA

The team at Neshaminy Creek Brewing is celebrating Black Friday with not just one specific beer release……but a whole lineup of releases! Join them at their taproom in Croydon, PA on Friday, November 27th for a full lineup of dark beer that is sure to be enjoyed.

The brewery is set to offer a plethora of rare beer releases on tap such as their BBA Leon 2018, Alembic Sour, BBA Four Corners Quad (collab with Against The Grain), Knee Jerk Reaction, PLUS four packs of Blaine (Pastry Stout with Chocolate and Marshmallows) will be available.

Stop by the brewery in Croydon on Friday to take in all the fun for yourself.

Usyrper Release + Lancaster Preview | Lancaster, PA

Join Tattered Flag for the release of their highly anticipated Usyrper stout series early in the morning at their newest Lancaster City location (it will also be available in Middletown starting at 10:00 am)

Usyrper is a double mashed first runnings collection that has been boiled for 11 hours. The result is a 14%+ ABV stout that is thick, decadent, chewy, and sweet like brownie batter. The possibilities are endless with a stout like this when it comes to adjuncts, so we kegged up the entire 10 Barrel batch and gave each barrel its own unique additions, three of which will be available at this event!

PaleAle-A-Palooza | Verona, PA

Who says Black Friday releases all have to be dark? Join Inner Groove Brewing in Verona for their 2nd annual PaleAle-A-Palooza. The brewery will be taking over their taps with Pale Ales and IPAs of all kinds.
