Iron Hill Offers Craft Market Grocery Bundles & Meal Kits Across All Locations

In the wake of the spread of COVID-19 across the country, restaurants have been required to revert to pick up and delivery operations only. Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant (Iron Hill), in accordance with local and federal mandates, has modified its business model, and added items to their existing list of paired down fresh prepared menu and craft beer offerings to include grocery bundles and craft meal kits.

The limited takeout menu is offered at all 16 locations in PA, DE, NJ, and SC, Iron Hill and has been expanded to offer “Craft Market” grocery bundles and “Craft Kits”, make-at-home meal kits. The kits, available at all locations, are priced at $10 – $28. They include everything needed to prepare a DIY steak dinner, pizza for 4, and burger and chicken sandwich meals. The Craft Market grocery bundles ($15-$18), include in-demand groceries that may be scarce in certain regions or grocery stores. The bundles include 30 eggs, 2 lbs. of butter, 1 gallon of whole milk, and an assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables. The groceries are also available a la carte for those who may not need larger quantities. A la carte items include toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, and an assortment of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy products. Craft Market grocery bundles must be ordered 24 hours in advance. They are available daily for curbside pickup and takeout. Locations are currently operating 11-8pm daily, with the Center City Philadelphia location, open only Tues-Thurs from 11-7pm.

“There’s no denying this situation has affected everyone”, says Iron Hill CEO Kim Boerema. “We created a way to be able to help support our guests, our employees and now even our suppliers as they are also feeling the devastating financial effects this unfortunate situation put us all in.  These offerings allow us to keep people employed, help our guests who are unable to or may not be comfortable with going to the grocery store to get the essentials, and the people who regularly deliver our restaurant’s food so we could create great dining experiences. We’re all still trying to do this – just in a very unique and different way. So many in our industry are struggling and it’s important now more than ever to support the community as a whole.”

In addition to food items, Iron Hill guests can also order growlers of signature and seasonal beers ($13-$19) as well as seasonal canned beer 4-packs ($17.25 – $18.25), for takeout. During Growler Hours (& Cans), from 4-8pm Monday- Friday and 11am-3pm Saturday – Sunday, guests can take advantage of half-priced growlers and $5 off 4-pack cans. Iron Hill has also expanded their delivery options, offering fresh prepared meals via delivery, and hope to be able to offer the meal kits and grocery items via delivery services in the near future.
