Last Minute Brewing (Scott Township) has teamed with Deer Creek Malthouse, GEMS Farm, and Avery Mountain Bines & Twine, on “Watching Your Six”. Each of the collaborating companies provided the local ingredients for this beer. “Watching Your Six” is a phrase used by the military for soldiers to tell each other they have their back.
Join these four groups on December 14th at Last Minute Brewing in Scott Township, PA, to watch the Army/Navy game, and raise glasses to those who commit themselves to something greater with Watching Your Six.
The group expanded on the theme of “six” to further honor the six categories of service that local hometown heroes dedicate themselves to each day. This patriotic brew includes all six varieties of hops grown by both of the veteran owned hops yards. The six hops: Cascade, Chinook, Comet, Newport, Tahoma and Triple Peral, provide for quite a tasty India Pale Ale, measuring in at 6.6% ABV.
The group described the beer below:
“Your hard work, self-sacrifice and dedication is second to none and unites us all – as one. Therefore, this release is a salute to those, particularly those from Pennsylvania, that serve – past and present – in the 6 components of service in American society: military, EMS, fire, medical services, dispatch and law enforcement. Watching Your Six is strong, balanced and unified, like the relationship between those who serve together!”
